So who is Karlina Caune?

Christian Louboutin’s Crystal Encrusted “Starlight” Nail Polish

Christian Louboutin released their very first nail lacquer a few months ago and now they are out with a limited edition – The Christian Louboutin Starlight Nail Polish.

The nail polish comes with a heavy price tag - $675 (that's roughly N125,000)

The spike-topped bottle is laced with 1,500 hand-applied strass crystals. The jewel box is lined in velvet and embellished with the same flower petals from the $1,395 Pensamoi stiletto. There are only a limited number of these exclusive bottles in production.



The pricey bottle isn’t limiting shoppers from buying. Sephora has reported that the bottles are flying off the shelves but not without mixed reviews. Some shoppers say “I can’t even see my husband buying me something so absurd“; but others are saying “Slightly pricey but worth the money“.

Only 1,000 bottles of Starlight have been produced worldwide.

Hi everyone,

Wow, it's been a fulfilling and extremely busy 2014 for me. The last time I blogged was in March, reasons being that, I have been so busy being pregnant, travelling, having my baby and working aswell. All these hasn't given me much time to sit in front of a computer to blog.

I took up a new job early this year which has been quite demanding of my time (yes I do not work as a full time makeup artist, wish I could, but my bills are more than what makeup allowance provides). Along the line, I got pregnant with my first kid(very exciting feeling),

and you all know how it is the first few months. Then I took a trip to the United States to have the baby, and as of today, I am still in the US, can't wait to be back though. Had my beautiful princes(pictures u will see) sometimes in August (whew!!....what an experience).

So that pretty much sums up my whole year. A big thank you to everyone that kept viewing my blog, and sent me messages to check up on me. Also a big thank you to the few clients that still sort me out online(You guys are the best).

And now, I am back fully to my old self, well a bit of my old self, and I would try to always post something.

House of Tara to host first Makeup in Nigeria Conference in April

Nigeria’s leading make-up and beauty company, House of Tara has announced the first edition of the Makeup in Nigeria Conference (MINC), a learning experience to build and equip the nation’s next set of pioneers, leaders and innovators in the beauty sector. The event holds on 30 April 2014 at the Oriental Hotel in Lagos

Makeup In Nigeria Conference is a pro-driven industry event open to those individuals and companies involved in beauty and makeup. Makeup artists, retail artists, fashion stylists, buyers, agents and photographers. Students enrolled in courses related to makeup or beauty are invited to attend as well.

Entrance fees to MINC  include the Experience floor, Keynote Forums and Workshops. Event admission tickets must be purchased via our online reservation system. MINC offers hands-on workshops; these workshops are offered on a first come, first serve.
