Gospel Rap Artist Bouqui introduces new acts

Gospel rapper, BOUQUI, yesterday, 14 December 2010, introduced a new gospel trio into mainstream music.

The trio, three Abel-Damina sisters, Jemima (16), Jesimel Precious (15), and Jewel Precious (8), performing as Triple J Plus, were introduced at a media briefing held at Protea Hotel in Ikeja GRA.

At the briefing, where three of the trio’s singles were official released to the media, the gospel femcee, who is currently enjoying rave reviews, revealed her excitement about the group.

“The girls are so talented!” she exclaimed. “There is nothing as fulfilling as finding and nurturing new talents and watching them rise to fame,” she said of the group’s expected growth in the industry.

While the sisters could not hide their excitement about going professional, they maintained that they have no intentions of putting aside education.

“I hope to combine schooling with making music,” Jemima, the eldest of the sisters, said. “When I’m in school, I’ll focus solely on schooling and during the holidays I can focus on making music,” the Oral Robert University (USA) hopeful explained.

In June 2008, the youngest of the sisters, Jewel Precious, was kidnapped for eight days and was released after government’s intervention.

Triple J Plus currently has three new singles out.
