Pink Lipstick.....The Hot New Look

Pink lipstick is the new hot color and it certainly goes a long way by giving an instant lift to your face. Pink comes in various hues of magenta, bold fuchsia and cotton candy but they all have a distinctive girly touch and glamour. The color pink not only lends an elegance and glow to your overall appearance but is also soft and innocent. Just the perfect party wear with a touch of subtle eye make up, pink lipstick is a must have in your makeup bag.....

The whole trick is wearing it right......

a. If you are planning to wear pink lipstick in the daytime, then go easy on your eye make up by keeping it toned down and simple

b. The same rule applies for the blush. You do not want your whole face giving out a pink look. With your pink lipstick, you can add a dash of nude blush on to your cheeks as this will balance out the pink in your lips without making your cheeks appear too dull.

c. You can always use a bold pink during the daytime if you can pull it off but if you are hesitant then it is best to reserve this for the evening.

d. Hot bright pink lipsticks are the perfect alternative to the red lips, particularly, if you do not fancy the red. It is the color for those daring and fun nights when you just want it pink all the way.

e. Get the shade that is closest to your skin undertones. If you have cooler undertone skin, then select the one which has blue undertone. If you have warmer undertone skin, then go in for the orange and red based undertone.

f. Just because you are very fair skinned does not mean that you can not pull off pink color. It should not matter you what others are saying, as long as you fantasize the color and feel that it looks good on you, go for it.

g. If you feel ridiculous wearing pink and you do not feel at all comfortable then do not use it. There is no point to buy a shade which you are not sure to pull off. This is a trend that is dramatic and most people may not be comfortable in wearing it, so if you are uncomfortable with the whole idea then you should not put it on.

h. If you are not afraid to experiment with the color then have the confidence to flaunt it as well. One of the best way to come out of the comfort zone. In fact, soon you may find yourself tuned to the color pink.

i. Always test out the lipstick before you buy it as this will give you an idea of whether the color really agrees with you or if you would prefer in another hue.

j. Ask for samples at all times. This way you can try them out in the natural light rather than store lit lights. This way, you can be sure of which hue works for you best and how long after applying you still feel nice or uncomfortable with the color.
