The main principle is this:
- Dark shading will make facial features recede
- Light shading will make facial features more prominent
Start Shading
With a darker foundation minimize the following features by
- i. Shading the sides of your NOSE
- ii. Shade the colors of your cheek and temples
- iii. Shade underneath your chins
- With a lighter foundations shade or Bronzer
- i. Apply on the apples of your cheek
- ii. Apply underneath your eyes in combination with a concealer. Also highlight the center of your eyelid, the middle of your forehead.
- iii. Highlight your cheeks by dusting a lighter foundation or bronzer on the apples of your cheek, as well as the middle of your chin.

Contour on either side of your jaw blending up to the bottom of your ear.
Highlight your forehead,under your eyes and your chin to draw attention to the centre of your face.
Round face |
Contour to your temples, cheeks and jawline to create the illusion of an oval.
